Warzone Tower Defense by Mad Cow Interactive
If you're a tower defense fan like me, Mad Cow Interactive has one that will keep you hooked for a long time.
How far can you go? |
This game has no stated story. Your goal is to protect a satellite base from invading vehicles for as long as possible. You have some pretty powerful tools at your disposal.
The visuals are rather nicely detailed and the music is fairly catchy. This game plays like most tower defense games: You place a variety of towers down to destroy the enemies as they try to reach satellite base. Here, however, you make the paths yourself using careful tower and wall placement. You can also drop bombs, emps and nukes for some additional firepower. There is also an extended version that has more maps and premium upgrades (or at least it did before MochiGames shut down). There are 2 types of enemies; ground units that go along the paths and flying ones that fly over everything. Occasionally you get a blue enemy that's much stronger than the others

This game is really fun. It really keeps your attention as you try to juggle the enemies the best you can, though it also gets harder as the enemies get stronger and stronger as the rounds go on. It does get tedious after a while, but honestly most games do if played long enough.
The game isn't overly unique, but that barely matters. You might want to clear your schedule before playing, however, as this game is highly addictive.
