Don't Get Spooked! by Bogleech
Can you survive The Spookiest House in the World? This adventure in gut-wrenching horror brought to you by Jonathan Christian Wojcik.
In Bogleech's text-based adventure, you enter a strange house to escape a rainstorm. This isn't your grandparent's house, however. This house is full of monsters that often look scary, but are generally friendly. Just try not to get spooked to many times...
Like you'd expect from Bogleech, the imagery can get really gross at times. There isn't any music, but that's understandable since this is a page to page story with no flash elements. Things start out pretty funny, given the tongue n cheek nature of the game. It even references famous creepypastas like Slenderman, Smile Dog and Abandoned By Disney. Get spooked too many times, however, and the house transforms into nightmarish world full of grotesque imagery and gruesome monsters. Fortunately, you can look at the cat picture in the foyer to turn things back to normal.
This is a pretty interesting story to go through. Jonathan's signature sense of humor and creativity truly shine the entire time you're playing. If you love the Bogleech website, this game will put a smile on your face.
