Chaos Faction by Dissolute Productions
From Dissolute Productions comes 2 amazing SSB style fighting games. Warning: These games contain hefty violence and firearm usage. Viewers discretion is advised.
It's kill or be killed in this game! |
The first game doesn't have a story at all, while the 2nd mentions the return of the main antagonist, Vortigon. Either way, the main point is to beat your opponents. The characters are all circular dudes with Rayman-style hands and feet. You can customize the looks of these fighters by swapping out body parts.
The graphics for both games look incredibly well made. The music is also awesome, plus the 2nd game has its characters make vocal noises. Both games employ simple controls that work perfectly. There are 15 levels split between 3 difficulties. The games play much like Super Smash Bros., complete with different items spawning and players being killed if they fall off the screen. There are a wide variety of weapons ranging standard guns like uzis and rifles to less usual weapons like bowling balls and handheld cannons.
Final thoughts: These games are awesome. They work great and can easily satisfy your urges to fight using digital characters. I suggest you give them a try, but I must warn you that the opponents in the hard difficulty levels don't go down without a fight.
