Some of the most brutal bosses in web games

Here are some of the hardest boss battles that flash games have to offer.
Pooh's Home Run Derby: Christopher Robin
If you wondered where those pictures of Christopher Robin being portrayed as an unstoppable god came from, look no further than this game. Not only does this guy use all of the impossible ball throwing skills of the previous pitchers, but you also have to hit 80 homeruns out of 100.

Pause Ahead: The Architect
This game is already extremely difficult, but this eldritch abomination doesn't help anything. There are 3 stages: The first one requires you to touch 2 switches, the 2nd has you trick the boss into igniting 3 statues and the 3 forces you to avoid rotating beams of death. This would be pretty easy except you also have to avoid a clone which copies your every move (including the pauses) and kills you on impact in addition to the Architect's attacks.

Don't Look Back: Hades
Speaking of a hard platformer with a tough final boss, Hades from Don't Look Back isn't much better. Besides throwing projectiles in 2 different directions, this god can also summon enemies and create stalactites. After taking 3 hits, he starts firing 5 projectiles at a time. By the way, his only weakspot is his head and you have to use 2 disappearing and reappearing platforms to reach it.

Aqua Slug: King Kid (or whatever his name is)
Here we have another difficult game that ends with a brutal boss battle. Instead of taking you on himself, this football stealing brat sends a massive robot after you. This robot has many hard to avoid attacks and its completely immune to your attacks. The kid doesn't move from his spot, but he takes a lot of hits to defeat.

Breakfast Brawl: "Papi" C. Debagle
This Punch Out style game might have only 4 opponents, but the final guy will give you grief. He take as good a beating as he can deliver and he throws a few punches every time he blocks one of yours. Worst of all, he also has a hard to avoid attack that can knock you down in one hit.

Bloons Monkey City: Blastapopoulos
This fantastic game has 4 bosses and this guy is the toughest by a long shot. Not only does he become stronger after each level, but he can also send lava balls to temporarily stun the most expensive towers on screen. As the levels progress, he starts throwing out more and more lava balls.

SAS Zombie Assault 4: Necrosis
Even when compared to the other nasty bosses of this game, the Necrosis is a nightmare. He can take and deliver a beating, he can send long range projectiles in multiple directions and he splits into multiple smaller monsters when killed. Word to the wise: Don't even think of fighting this thing alone.
