How To Raise A Dragon by Gregory Weir

Did you ever want to live a dragon's life? If so, this is your chance.
Will this dragon be good or evil? You decide!

Gregory Weir's little game is played like a choose your own adventure story. Here, you play a dragon from hatchling to fully grown adult, and then a human hero. In this game, you can choose what breath power you're dragon has, what role it plays in its adult years and whether it gets killed or befriended by the hero.

The game has an awesome retro look to it. The music is very short, but it's nice while it lasts. The controls work perfectly in each chapter. The dragon can double jump in the second level and straight up fly in the third. Its color and breath power depends on what it eats in the first and second levels, respectively. The hero can't fly or eat anything (or anyone), but he can pick up various things and shoot arrows if he's holding a bow.

The game ain't exactly complicated, but it's still a good game. What I like most about it is you can make the story however you want. You can have your dragon be a tyrant or a protector. You can have the hero kill the dragon or befriend it. The choice is yours.

Greg's game is amazing. It doesn't last long, but it has a nostalgic charm and it lets you make your own story. If you want a dragon that has an army of zombies, you can do that. This is one game you really have to play.
