Who knew a cute baseball game from Disney could hide such sadism?
Winnie The Pooh's Home Run Derby is a notoriously difficult baseball game starring Winnie the Pooh and friends. The goal is to beat Pooh's friends by hitting home runs. You use the mouse to move Pooh around and click the mouse to swing the bat. You can use the points you earn to upgrade the power, contact and swing speed of your bat.
Because of the Pooh theme, this game has brightly colored designs and calm, playful music. As innocent as it looks, this game is extremely hard. In fact, it's probably the hardest flash game I've reviewed so far. You have to hit as many home runs as depicted on the target counter, but the opponents start throwing their balls in unconventional and sometimes impossible manners after the third level. For example, Kanga and Roo bounce their balls towards you, Owl's thrown balls zigzag in the air and Tigger's balls outright disappear halfway to the plate. Christopher Robin is by far the toughest character to defeat, as he can use all of the strategies of the previous characters.
Final thoughts: this game can be pretty fun if you're looking for a challenge, but I recommend you stay away if what you want is an easy game. This gauntlet is for highly skilled gamers only!
