Tower of Heaven by Askiisoft

May Heaven grant you.... fortune?
You'll die as many times as a Happy Tree Friends character when you're playing this!

Tower of Heaven is a Gameboy-style game by Askiisoft. Here, you traverse difficult levels filled with hazards to reach the top of a tower. You aren't alone on this journey, however. A mad god watches your every move and he isn't happy about you scaling his tower. Later on in the game, he starts imposing laws that you can't break or you'll die. These laws prevent you from touching gold blocks, touching platforms from the sides, walking left (though you can still jump left) and touching living things.

As mentioned above, this game is made to look and sound like it came from the Gameboy. Speaking of sound, this game has one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard in any game. You can listen to it here. This game is incredibly difficult. Every level has a plethora of hazards that you have to jump around, ranging from saw blades to spikes. The various laws imposed on you only make things worse. You also die in one hit and have to complete each level in a set amount of time.

All in all, this game is incredibly fun to play and very rewarding to beat. The Cherry on top is definitely the soundtrack. Flashygoodness is quite the video game music maker. If you haven't checked it out yet, you absolutely should!
