In Robot Unicorn Attack, you play as a robot unicorn as you race across a sugary sweet landscape for as long as possible. You'll die if you fall off the stage, crash into the edge of a platform or hit a giant star crystal. You have 3 wishes (lives) to use before game over. The controls are very simple: You can jump up to 2 times in the air and dash forward. You can also chain double jumps and dashes to remain airborne.
The visuals are amazing. Everything looks bright and colorful. The game's sole soundtrack is fantastic. The song is "Always" by Erasure and I'll be darned if it isn't one of the best songs I've ever heard! This game has various spin offs, including a heavy metal edition that turns everything darker and edgier and plays "Battlefield" by Blind Guardian during gameplay.
Bottom line, this game is pure awesomeness. If the simple yet addictive gameplay doesn't make you wanna play for hours, the soundtrack will.
