Pause Ahead by Askiisoft

What if the pause button was a weapon?
You'll need all the good luck charms you can get to beat this game!

From our good friends Askiisoft comes another great Gameboy-style game. This time, you play as a young wolf boy trying to make his way through a dark cave filled with sharp spikes, saw blades and smashing blocks. To make things possible, you have the ability to pause time. Along the way, you'll hear voices from an unknown being they call the Architect.

The graphics are amazing. It's all pretty colorful and everything is highly detailed. Flashygoodness and Bill Kiley worked together on the soundtrack and it is one of the best that I've ever heard. Difficulty wise, this game is absolutely brutal. The cave's narrow corridors make it impossible to avoid many of the death traps without pausing time. The pausing mechanic lets you fly around and go right through the hazards unharmed, but it also prevents you from changing which direction you're flying in until you unpause time.

Final word, this game is very fun, but also extremely frustrating (Seriously, it gives Tower of Heaven a run for its money). You can definitely play it, but you'll need great gaming skills to have any hope of beating it.
