The Official Halloween Safety Game by Halloween Magazine

Have a safe and happy Halloween! |
Who made it?: This game comes from Halloween Magazine, a Halloween website that sadly 404ed in recent years, hence the link going to a Wayback Machine archive.
Story: In this game your learning about important safety tips for trick or treating.
Presentation: With its all black background for the most part, stock images and gifs on the game over screen, this game has a cool Geocities vibe to it. Like most of the story games I've covered, there's no sound to this. There is a flash version of the game found on later dates on the link that does have sounds, but that doesn't work.
How to play: You click on various choices and see what happens next. If you make the right choice, you move on to the next page. If you choose wrong, you get a "boogeyman error" and have to go back. If you make it through to the end, you get an award like the one at the top of this page.
Gameplay: This game is a really basic quiz about Halloween safety. If you have common sense (Don't listen to strangers, only cross the street at the corners, etc.), this game won't be very challenging.
Final Verdict: It's no Don't Get Spooked or 16 Ways to Kill a Vampire at McDonald's, but it's an all around alright game. If nothing else your kids might have some fun with this game before their next trick or treat session.
